Meet Your Founder
Hey, i'm Bry!
Founder of Baby Steps, proud mum, cystic fibrosis warrior, and festive fanatic (my dad literally calls me “Christmas” in December). My favorite color is blue (no clue why), I live for Wagamama’s chili squid (even though I now can’t handle spice), and I have an unexpected obsession with milk—thanks, pregnancy!
My Journey
I have cystic fibrosis, a life-limiting lung condition, and last year, I welcomed my little miracle baby. I’m also a pre & postnatal personal trainer and a musician—French horn player and occasional jazz singer!
Pregnancy was surprisingly smooth sailing (minus some morning sickness and pelvic pain), but birth? Not so much. My unmedicated labor took a sudden turn into the operating theatre, and while I recovered physically, the mental challenges hit harder.


Why Baby Steps?
Postpartum knocked me sideways. The NHS does an incredible job, but after a quick 6-week check (and an eye-roll for refusing birth control), I felt completely lost. Even as a trainer, getting back into fitness felt impossible.. I wanted a sustainable plan, a mother’s tick list, a one-stop hub for everything new mums actually need.
So, Baby Steps – A Mothers Hub was born. A space for real support, practical tips, and reassurance, because none of us want to be scrolling through different apps and tabs on our phones at 3 AM!
